Who we are
Nanorater is the brand name of nanorater.com, an independent software product for honest, measured face analysis. You can reach us any time at support@nanorater.com.
What Nanorater does
Upload a front-facing photo and Nanorater maps 478 facial landmarks, then measures symmetry, facial thirds, facial fifths, proportion, eyes and jaw. It works in two layers:
- A free scan in your browser. Your face score, best feature, face shape and PSL-style estimate appear in seconds. The photo is not uploaded for this, no account is needed and there is no limit. The same engine powers our free face shape detector, golden ratio face calculator, PSL scale rater and the other free tests.
- A Full Report when you want the plan. For a one-time payment, every measurement is explained, a vision AI model reads your photo region by region, and you get a ranked plan, a four-week schedule, styling guidance and four AI previews on your own photo. See pricing.
How we think about ratings
- A score is about one photo, not about you. Light, lens and expression change the geometry a photo shows, so two pictures of the same person can score differently. We say so on the result.
- We show our working. The formula, reference set and accuracy figures are on our methodology page, and every tool says what it cannot tell you.
- Specific beats harsh. Every recommendation is something you can actually change: hair, grooming, skin care, styling or how you take the photo.
- No beauty verdicts. Nanorater does not rank people, and it is not medical, cosmetic or psychological advice.
Your photos and data
The free scan keeps your photo in your browser. If you buy a Full Report, your photo is uploaded to generate it and is processed by our storage and AI providers for that purpose. We do not train models on your photos. The details, including retention and deletion, are in our privacy policy.
